Role Purpose Statement
This position is based in Mohali reporting to SAP Delivery with 3-7 years’ experience developing and supporting interfaces on SAP PI/PO version 7.5. The candidate must demonstrate hands on experience with SAP PI/PO administration, developing new interfaces as well as supporting the current live interfaces, change management, user management and software installations to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the PI/PO environments.  The candidate should be able to provide 2nd level and 3rd level support within the team and any customer interaction.  Will be responsible for development, support, maintenance, documentation and implementation of the SAP PI-PO module both to internal and external systems key to business operations and align with the business needs to provide support for global systems and teams.


 Main Accountabilities
•    Analyze assignments, develop personal work plan, complete assignments accurately and communicate status in a timely fashion to senior leadership.
•    Design, develop and document SAP PI/PO interfaces between SAP ERP and external systems utilizing File/FTP, SOAP, HTTP, RFC, JDBC, SOAP, ccBPM and IDoc adapters.
•    Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with IT department functional team members as well as business unit users.
•    Work collaboratively alongside the Global PI Team in a shared PI/PO environment including adhering to EAI patterns and conventions where applicable.
•    Being willing and able to provide production support of the developed interfaces.
•    Participate in a variety of IT related projects and initiatives.
•    Installing, upgrading, configuring, and maintaining SAP software
•    Involved in troubleshooting and fixing day-to-day problems on the applications on 24/7 schedule
•    Provide technical solutions that solve business problems
•    Provide timely system recovery minimizing loss of revenue due to system outage
•    Competent professional customer service skills to resolve issues swiftly and accurately to meet customer needs
•    Supporting production environment during non-business hours
•    Technical Support to application developers / business users 
•    Documenting all the changes/issues/resolutions

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•    3 - 7 years of experience of SAP-PI Design Best practices, Error Handling Mechanism, and SAP PI-PO Architecture.
•    Project experience in SAP Process Integration/Orchestration – PI-PO 7.5 (Design, Configuration and Deployment).
•    Experience with the System Landscape Directory (SLD) as required for PI development and runtime.
•    Expertise in developing ABAP Proxies, ccBPM, synchronous and asynchronous interfaces and Web services integration.
•    Experience in Runtime Workbench for Message Monitoring, Component Monitoring & in SAP BTP Integration Suite would be beneficial                                                                              

     Vision for interfaces and coherent, scalable structure in support of Plant Systems beyond the first project.
•    Qualified candidates will need the ability to come up to speed quickly and work proactively in a team environment with a personal commitment to accuracy and detail.
•    Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
•    Computer Science Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
•    Must have completed several upgrade/migration projects
•    Experience administering large scale and high visibility production environments
•    Good interpersonal skills and strong problem solving ability
