Lead Consultant - SAP MM/WM

This position is based in Mohali, Punjab which is our Global Shared Service Center.  The role requires a senior SAP application expert skilled in the functionality and configuration of SAP MM/WM modules. He / she should have experience on P2P flow, Pricing, account determination to perform the development and provide regional business processes.

 

Primary responsibilities of the position:

 

  • Functional expertise on P2P flow, Pricing, account determination, Inventory Management.
  • Provide SAP functional expertise for SAP solutions supporting MM areas. This also includes financial integration with “Procure to Pay processes
  • Responsible as a MM module team member within the EU SAP team to support currently implemented SAP solutions.
  • Functional expertise on SAP LE areas viz. Inbound and Outbound operations, Pre-receiving, Receiving, Quality Assurance, Search strategies, put away, Picking/Packing, Shipping, Batch management.
  • Provide functional support to implemented systems and users in the above areas either locally or remotely in a regional support role.
  • Assist in the evaluation, definition, design and approval of SAP modifications and enhancements in MM areas.
  • Support in document, testing, implementation and training of new SAP enhancements, upgrades/releases etc for the areas above.
  • Provide end-user training including creation/maintenance of training material, conducting training sessions
  • Responsible to close out defects on solutions designed including analysis, design and documentation of the functional design specifications, test plans and scenarios and coordination of the resolution until defects are closed
  • Assist with SAP Rollout thru APAC region (as/when needed)
  • Assist in the implementation of related Business Applications from SAP SME perspective.
  • Provide support for SAP integration to other business applications, web/mobility solutions etc.   

 

EDUCATION LEVEL:  Anyone of the below shall do

BACHELOR’S DEGREE / MASTER’S DEGREE  

Major:     IT / Technology / Business

 

EXPERIENCE: (The below are absolutely necessary)

SAP Related

  • 6 - 12 years of experience in SAP Design and Implementation on MM Modules.  Experience required on the following sub-modules:
  • Advanced knowledge of Procure to Pay processes.
  • Advance knowledge on Pricing and Order management.
  • Knowledge of integration points with other modules such as FI-CO, QM, and PP/PS.
  • Strong Knowledge on Inventory Goods movement integration.
  • Advance knowledge on account Determination Integration of MM with SAP FI. 
  • Must be able to scope and create BPPs (Business Process Procedures) and PDDs (Process Definition Document).  These are the necessary documents delivered in Configuration.
  • Must be able to scope, review, and create functional specifications and assist the development team in writing the technical specifications for SD “RICEF” (i.e. Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement and Forms).
  • Good understanding of SRM VIM is a plus.
  • ABAP debugging skills is a plus.
  • Experience in rolling out global SAP templates
  • Comfortable in defending SAP solutions with peers forming an SAP governance council
