Title:          Manager – OTC


Job Purpose

               Manager is the primary owner of the end-to-end Order to Cash process with the overall goal of delivering OTC services while ensuring quality.


Key Responsibilities

•             Responsible for entire OTC process and departmental functions such as customer master maintenance, Credit administration, Cash application processes, AR related management reporting, tax compliance & corresponding internal controls

•             Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs. Identify clear objectives for the team, providing coaching, career development and feedback to team members, providing performance evaluation and reward

•             Preparing and Implementing strategy on day-to-day basis and expediting the billing process with minimum disruption

•             Establishing and adequate control environment and optimizing the efficiency of OTC process. Offer operational support and assistance to OTC team to ensure smooth and timely sub ledger close.

•             Understand business / strategies for order management and support automation of business process across order management

•             Develop and publish weekly / monthly / quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management

•             Managing customer relationships and dealing with queries and discrepancies in relation to the provided accounts receivable services

•             Participate and Lead in cross functional process and system improvement initiatives

•             Lead the maintenance of a strong Controls environment

•             Close communication and partnership with Internal Audit teams as well as Group External Auditors

•             Preparation of   Accounts Receivables Reports 

•             Export Documentation

•             Sales promotions schemes, Debit & Credit notes,

•             Coordination with Accounting Team for correct Accounting and closing as per policies of Co & Accounting standards

•             Coordination with Plants/ CFA/SCM Team

•             Responsible for Audits, SOX Controls, Review and Compliance of Business Polices

•             Any other Role decided by Management from Time-to-Time


Knowledge and Experience


•             Minimum 5-Years of Operations and team handling experience in OTC process like Sales Order Management, Billing Process, Cash Application .in Commodity or FMCG Company (Preferably Indian Co)

•             Minimum Education Qualification – Graduate

•             Excellent written and spoken English

•             Strong customer service mind-set

•             Must be having team handling experience; must be at least 3 years in a Team Leadership position

•             Project Management, Transition and Lean six sigma experience is an advantage

•             Acumen to focus on people, processes, and systems

•             Excellent interpersonal and networking skills

•             Ability to work independently, efficiently and deliver high quality output under time pressure

•             Strong problem solving & organization skills

•             Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

•             Experience in SAP
