SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Responsible for validation, data cleansing and maintenance, and reinforce use of business rules and standards via SAP MDG. He is accountable to work with Global and Region Master Data Coordinators and Business Stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of data for final processing in MDG system.

 

Accountable for driving accuracy, improvements across all geographic regions and Bunge’s businesses. Has broad responsibility for driving alignment across multiple business functional areas to define & execute project scope and deliverables.

 

This role is viewed as a Data Custodian – Process expert in the master data management domain for Material, Customer, supplier (any two data types is mandatory) and Finance related data types. He will be required to collaborate with a multiple Bunge stakeholder spread across the globe from Business, IT and others stakeholder in order to define and achieve a mutually agreed outcome in the master data domains for both ‘Material and Finance’ data.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

             Validate data and reinforce Region compliance to business rules and

      standards

•             Verify master data requests against global and Region rules and 

   standards; communicate results

             Enrich data provided by Data Initiator or Data Requestor

•             Include additional information to requests as required

             Perform data cleansing and maintenance

•             Perform Region data cleansing and records maintenance to ensure

   data integrity

•             Perform follow-on steps in order to comply with business rules

             Provide OCM for above

•             Provide first-level support, training, and communication to Region

   stakeholders, Data Requestors and Data Approvers

             Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address business needs and address them appropriately in a timely manner.

 

Skill and Knowledge Requirements

             Knowledge of Data Management processes across all the key data types, business rules and how Master Data affects transactional processing

             Knowledge of Business process and related business process metrics

             Technical knowledge of SAP master data tables, fields, SAP MDG

             Experience with Data Dictionaries and Metadata management.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

Education required/ preferred:   •             Any Bachelor’s degree (preferably MBA degree), BCA, B.Tech

 

Experience:

•             Minimum 4-5 years of professional data management experience managing Master Data Management processes

•             Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in SAP MDG or SAP MDM

•             Strong experience in working directly with business clients driving requirements workshop, finalization and prioritization of requirements and requirements negotiations with the business stakeholder’s expectation management

               •             Good communication skills – both verbal and written

•             Able to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones

•             Flexible to work and support across all the time zones
