Salesforce Administrator


The Salesforce Administrator must understand the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).  They should be proactive, organized and logical. The administrator will work closely with the global administrator/development teams and be dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on end user needs. They must have excellent technical and communication skills, have the ability to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This person will serve as the "go to" for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and enhancements, and provide analytics, reporting, and training. Additionally, the Administrator will perform basic updates such as data maintenance and add/delete users.



  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes and gather feedback/requirements from users and continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience
  • Assist with determining if/how can be used in new ways to promote efficiency and stay up to date on new enhancements
  • Communicate regularly with users regarding new features and enhancements
  • Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, campaigns and other objects and functions
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Build and manage report folders to improve sales efficiency
  • Reassign accounts, contacts, and opportunities in response to personnel changes
  • Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups
  • Provide one to one training to end users on an on-going basis
  • Assist sales management to create processes in to help monitor activities, trends, sales and leads
  • Monitor neglected leads, opportunities, accounts, and contacts as appropriate
  • Monitor usage and mentor users/groups needing assistance
  • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate leads, contacts, and accounts
  • Performing mass uploads and updates of data as required
  • Request removal of unnecessary fields and data
  • Ensure screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current business workflow
  • Add/remove user licenses



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a relatable field required
  • Experience as an end user of, similar CRM product, or relational database
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization  to define problems and present solutions
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Excel and Word; SAP experience  recommended but not required
