Founded in 1818, the company is headquartered in White Plains, New York. Bunge has implemented a Shared Services Center in Mohali, India to support Global Operations in areas of Finance & Accounting, Trade Operations, Treasury and IT Support and other back office support Services

The role is responsible to drive large, complex, multi-phased, Initiatives that helps to deliver process improvement capabilities that are identified by BBS Leadership. The role acts as an enabler by playing a critical role in initiation of projects defining, structuring and building a deliverable based plan in leading cross-functional teams to focus on outcomes that has business value meeting strategic objectives. The function receives very broad guidance from top management and requires a high level of initiative and problem-solving ability in a highly ambiguous environment with-in BBS
Main Accountabilities (List 6-8 major areas of responsibilities in order of importance, and purpose of these activities:

•    Partner with BBS Leaders in understanding identify initiatives in-line with the key business priorities.
•    Own and execute E2E (starting with solutioning till go-live) one or more top level key strategic initiatives on need basis partnering with senior leadership team
•    Create detailed implementation project plans with timelines and ownerships
•    Lead all non-IT transition projects for BBS for North America; Europe & Asia
•    Support solution design / due-diligence efforts for large transformation programs
•    Align with multiple stakeholders to manage the transition deliverables 
•    Mentor and guide new team members on BBS transition and transformation methodology

•    Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive cost reduction in excess of USD 1M annually.
•    Optimize operating model through levers like consolidation, standardization, elimination, redesign & automation and achieve best in class processes
•    Guide and mentor new joiners on BBS transition and transformation methodology


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (Measurable outcomes that the position contributes to):

•    Transformation
o    Drive and report the deliverables of Process Improvement / Solution design assessment 
o    Implementation roadmap planning
•    Transition Management
o    Transition of select work from various Bunge locations to BBS Centers as per agreed timelines
o    Manage transition costs
•    People Management and Talent Development
o    Effectively train new team members on BBS Transition & Transformation methodology
o    Coach new team members on utilizing the methodology to drive projects


Major Opportunities and Decisions (Describe the more difficult and/or complex challenges or opportunities and decisions faced in doing work, improving processes or meeting customer needs.  Where must position focus to be successful?):

•    Conducted transformation projects across functions like Customer Service, Sales Support and Supply Chain to identify consolidation opportunities for BBS; this helped BBS to expand its portfolio outside Finance, HR & Procurement functions
•    For BLC China & SFDC transition, the impacted resources at the sending locations exited the function / organization suddenly.  However, the transition deliverables were managed seamlessly without impacting timelines and quality of operations at BBS. 
•    Managed multiple attrition cases at BBS during transition phase with minimal impact during month close activities for the RTR team
•    Managed transition of complex processes remotely during Covid times

•    Strategic Thinking - Understand the overall organizational strategy and influence the cross functional team to align on the strategic initiative
•    Stakeholder Management - Align the stakeholders on 'What's' and the 'How's' of the program
•    Planning & Execution - Drive execution rigor using set practices, Manage & Drive Change wherever needed
•    Problem Solving & Decision Making - Proactively Identify problems & drive solutions, make decisions which are based on the values and principles of the organization,


Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces (External & Internal):


•    Across Bunge: Business & Operational Leaders 
o    Understand the business and operational pain areas for the Leaders in their respective functions and derive potential solutions
o    Design projects plan, roadmap and align on the expectations and timelines
o    Track and monitor projects 
o    Keep business leaders informed and updated on the project progress
o    Anticipate risk and issues and work in its mitigation
o    Minimize work disruption due to transition

•    Within BBS: Functional Leaders / managers and support functions
o    Alignment with multiple functions within BBS for project deliverables such as IT for Technology setup, Talent team for resource hiring. HR for onboarding etc.
o    Seamless Transition of roles to BBS
o    Manage Change


Knowledge and Technical Competencies (Identify knowledge and specific technical competencies to accomplish the desired end results.  Some examples are licenses & certifications and knowledge and abilities):

•    Experience in Process Improvement Methodologies [Lean, Six Sigma and/or Processes Reengineering, others] Application & Execution.

•    University graduate in a related field - Economic/Accounting and Finance studies.
