SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for supporting EDM Data Quality Improvement and is accountable to work with Global and Region Master Data Coordinators and Business Stakeholders to ensure Data Quality improvement goals are defined, understood, and met.
Accountable for driving successful implementation of Data Quality solutions and programs across all geographic regions and Bunge’s businesses. Has broad responsibility for driving alignment across multiple business functional areas to define & execute project scope and deliverables.
This role is viewed as a Data Management - DQ expert in the master data management domain for Material, Customer, supplier (any two data types is mandatory) and Finance related data types. He will be required to collaborate with a multiple Bunge stakeholder spread across the globe from Business, IT and others stakeholder in order to define and achieve a mutually agreed outcome in the master data domains for both ‘Material and Finance’ data.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Planning, Scheduling, and Execution of EDM Data Quality (DQ) improvement activities:
Work with Global and Region Master Data Coordinators to schedule and conduct Regional data reviews and DQ education sessions
Monitor scorecard development in Information Steward and ensure completed scorecards match EDM standards and business rules
Work with Global and Region Master Data Coordinators and business stakeholders to create action plans, assess impacts, and follow up to ensure action completion
Compile Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Annual Global DQ results
Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address business needs and address them appropriately in a timely manner.
Support EDM Governance activities:
Work with Global and Region Master Data Coordinators to define and track global and regional rules in Information Value Management (IVM), and to identify scorecard updates required in Information Steward
Support Global and Region Master Data Coordinators in the communication of Business Rules to the organization
Support EDM Data Quality Cleansing and Conversion activities:
Support Global and Region Master Data Coordinators, Data Owners, & SME's for data cleansing, data migration activities, and all projects impacting MDG, SAP implementations, acquisitions, etc.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements
Knowledge of EDM Master Data quality dimensions, scorecard content, and business rules and how Master Data affects transactional processing
Knowledge of Business process and related business process metrics
Technical knowledge of SAP master data tables, fields, SAP MDG
Experience with Data Dictionaries and Metadata management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
Education required/ preferred: • M.BA, B. Tech, BCA
Experience:
• Minimum 6-8 years of professional data management experience managing DQ related processes and programs
• Minimum 4-5 years of working experience in SAP MDG or SAP MDM
• Strong experience in working directly with business clients driving requirements workshop, finalization and prioritization of requirements and requirements negotiations with the business stakeholder’s expectation management
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written
• Able to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones
• Flexible to work and support across all the time zones
