 This position is based in Mohali, Punjab which is our Global Shared Service Center reporting to the Manager RTR – Finance & will be accountable for entire India accounting & Reporting (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, IHC & Intercompany), Local & Global financial reporting, Period-end close & reporting and Master data management, including planning, management, and delivery of a business services.

 

Key Responsibilities

•             Responsible for the timely completion of activities as part of the Record-to-Report (RTR) function – Accounting (General Ledger, Vendor/Travel Accruals, Fixed Assets, Balance sheet Reconciliations & Intercompany Accounting), Local & Global OneStream reporting, Period-end close & reporting and Master data management

•             Monthly Financial Reporting for Bunge India as per USGAAP and Quarterly schedules reporting as per Security Exchange Commission. Experience of OneStream tool is preferable.

•             Day to day General Accounting like Expense/Revenue accruals, Prepaid Amortization etc

•             Lesioning with Corporate HRBP and accountable for processing payroll for all Bunge India Plants/Offices

•             Sound Knowledge & Understanding of Commodity market (Derivative Accounting) is preferable.

•             Active involvement in month end activities like Revaluation, Cost allocations, PCA run.

•             Accountable for several MIS Reporting’s like Industrial Consumption, Inventory reconciliation, daily bank recon dashboards but not limited to.

•             Independent coordination with Statutory/internal/SOX auditors for smooth completion of annual SOX, USGAAP & Local IGAAP Audits

•             Meet the team KPI Targets and ensure timely delivery as per the defined SLAs

•             Ownership of COA -Master Data across vendors, customers and GL related (company codes, cost centers, etc.). Approves requests for master data changes

•             Accountable for evaluating, analyzing, reconciling and resolving complex accounting transactions and ensuring reconciliations of accounts

•             Improve the business process flow on a continual basis utilizing industry leading practices

•             Help Team Leaders setting policies and procedures for the RTR process

•             Act as key contact person for all internal and external groups (Bunge APAC, Bunge Global, Counterparties and Statutory team) which affect / are affected by the RTR process

•             Assist team in trouble shooting and decision making

•             Identify process improvements to generate productivity within the team by improvising current process

•             Ensure compliance with Group’s Sarbanes Oxley programme and Standard Policy and Procedures

 

Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

•             3- 5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in RTR with Manufacturing industry/Client.

•             Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred 

•             Education Qualification – Inter CA with experience / CA

•             Experience in SAP FICO (Mandatory) and One stream (Consolidation)

•             Strong knowledge and experience in General Ledger, Closing & Reporting, Intercompany, reconciliations

•             Ability to provide high quality level of customers service for end-to-end Accounting & reporting process

•             Ability to partner with other SSC Team Managers/ Teams to optimize processes across the SSC

•             Strong written & oral communications skills in English

•             Strong problem solving & organization skills

•             Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

 

Distinct Advantage

•             Working experience in a similar Shared Services Centre setup a distinct advantage

•             Prior experience in managing high transaction volumes, with good knowledge of associated controls and procedures

•             Experience in SAP FICO modules, workflow tools and document imaging systems

•             Experience in managing and leading teams for service delivery
