What will you be doing as a Analytical Innovation Engineer – Budapest

Manage and/or participate in Industry 4.0 and IT projects involving process and laboratory equipment in plants, as well as projects linking to systems used by external commercial laboratories for efficient data management.

This should be completed through the following activities:

• Facilitate quality sensors roadmap implementation for each assigned facility
• Coordinate and identify the requirements for the implementation and installation of new quality sensors.
• Define and identify the requirements to integrate the quality sensors in automation control-loops.
• Working with suppliers of quality sensors.
• Working on projects with SAP-QM team to connect laboratory equipment to SAP-QM
• Collaborate with other business units (Operations, IT, OT/Automation etc.) and project stakeholders.
• Support European plants online NIR for installation, calibration, validation and troubleshooting.
• Implement guidance for NIR installation, application, training the new engineers
• Member of Industry 4.0 and IT projects associated with process and laboratory equipment in the plants

What you can bring to the role

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Food Engineering, Food Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioscience
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in Quality or Process Control, instrumental analysis in Food/Feed, Pharma Industry

• Automation/Instrumentation, IT knowledge and experience regarding process and quality control are preferred
• Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant industry
• Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology and supporting industry principles.
• Fluent business English mandatory as well as Hungarian skills.
• Computer skills
• Availability for frequent travels.
