What will you be doing as a Junior Legal – Budapest
The core focus of the Junior Legal activity is to provide legal advice with guidance and supervision to support the business activity and operations of Hungary.
This should be completed through the following activities:
- Providing legal support to Hungary and functional areas of Bunge.
- Working closely with Hungarian business to gain understanding of their environment, legal issues, challenges and opportunities, key customers, competitors and suppliers.
- Advising on draft or review commercial documentation binding the company to minimise exposures.
- Aiding in managing the representation of the company before authorities, administrative or before quasi-judicial agencies.
- Supporting the team regarding advising on pre-litigation resolution of commercial disputes and settlements.
- Assisting the Legal Team and the Compliance function in operating a compliance program as and when requested. Reviewing and advising on marketing activities (e.g. marketing materials) to minimise exposures. Support regarding data privacy issues.
- Supporting in reporting on litigation, projects and major issues/matters
What you can bring to the role:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an international law firm and/or as an in-house attorney in a multinational corporation
- Qualified lawyer – bar exam is not a must
- Fluency in Hungarian and English
- Previous experience gained by providing legal support to commercial business activities having own production (particularly in the field of Agribusiness and/or FMCG) and data protection expertise are advantages
- A detail-orientated person that is up for a challenge
