Focus Area Overview:
This specific trainee role will be focused on Internal Audit - Analytics.
Global Internal Audit (GIA) is global function within Bunge to support Bunge Limited’s Board of Directors in its oversight of the governance risk and control framework, and to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve Bunge’s operations. The mission of GIA is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. GIA helps Bunge accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.  GIA maintains highest levels of professional standards and serves as a talent development platform for Bunge employees. 
The function works closely with senior management, commercial, industrial and other areas of finance including tax, treasury, controlling, FP&A and business development The GIA function provides a great training ground to build business knowledge and finance skillset to unlock future growth within GIA and the broader finance organization.


The Data Analytics Trainee will contribute to Global Internal Audit’s (GIA) continued enhancement of data analytics, data mining, and continuous auditing strategies to support the function. The Data Analytics Auditor will be exposed to risk-based projects in several business areas and will be working with project teams and Internal Audit Centers of Excellence (CoE) to: 
•    Execute audit analytics during all relevant stages of the audit 
•    Provide support to GIA Analytics functional activities 
•    Participate in the ongoing development/transition towards data automation for GIA projects 
•    Assist CoE teams in identifying, developing and documenting new relevant data analysis for the subject
•    Work closely with regional analytics lead on key initiatives 


Essential Job Duties:
•    Perform data analytics to support regional audits and global analytics priorities
•    Ability to work and communicate across multiple projects at the same time 
•    Assist project teams in obtaining necessary data for audits and perform data mining and analysis to facilitate the identification and communication of outliers and trends to the business areas 
•    Provide support in audits by identifying, developing, documenting, and executing audit analytics during all relevant stages of an audit project 
•    Develop and leverage subject matter expertise in: the knowledge of Bunge's data environment and systems; ability to access and analyze data; use of analytical tools; and ability to interpret, visualize and communicate results 
•    Assist and eventually lead department initiatives to review and improve processes, tools and methodologies related to the use of Data Analytics 
•    Lead the development of trainings related to data analytics tools and methodology 
•    Provide additional support on GIA initiatives, when necessary 
•    Critically think on how to enhance GIA with use of tools, data, other technologies, etc.  

Skills/Experience Requirements:
•    Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related areas 
•    0-1 year of experience; prior internship experience strongly preferred
•    Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess exceptional critical thinking skills       
•    Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
•    Analytical problem-solving skills with a high level of curiosity to learn and adapt to changing priorities
•    Ability to solve practical problems in complex scenarios by leveraging a variety of resources to self-educate and map a pathway to success.
•    Strong excel knowledge desirable
•    Willingness to relocate domestically and/or internationally for future growth opportunities
•    Proficiency in other languages beneficial
•    Considerable skill in using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and additional skill in analytics tools desirable (e.g., Tableau).
•    Ability to work in an ever-growing global environment with domestic and international travel requirements.
•    Efficient in planning and time management to maintain composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
•    Ability to solve practical problems in complex scenarios by leveraging a variety of resources to self-educate and map a pathway to success.
•    Ability to follow instruction and work independently to self-manage multiple priorities within defined timelines. 
•    Ability to professionally articulate issues and resolve problems with a solution focused mindset.
•    Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, team management and external contacts, to work effectively in a professional team environment.
