<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Bunge North America Safety Internship Program is looking for candidates with strong critical thinking and communication skills.  During the internship, you will be exposed to various aspects of safety management and will learn from regional safety leaders.  You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation and build a career in the safety field.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Essential Functions:


  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support Bunge safety culture by leading various projects
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist in training development
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop a thorough understanding of high potential exposures
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assessments
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Confined space inventories and labeling
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develop machine specific Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Task specific hazard assessments
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist safety leads in verifying the safety integrity of on-site construction projects
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, and/or program managers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Analyze data and develop reports
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assisting with company standards updates


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Qualifications/Requirements:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Safety
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Analytical problem solving skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proficiency in standard PC applications
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to travel
