As the Nutrition Finance & Business Development Analyst, you will play an important role in this exciting challenge of building out our business in the infant formula, sport nutrition and dietary supplement markets. Through strategic and financial analysis, this position is responsible for generating insights that helps the business identifying potential improvement areas and making data driven decisions. This role will support project business cases of strategic importance aimed at developing the Nutrition business globally.

 

You will

 

Lead BU’s financial analyses:

  • Develop KPI’s and metrics to track the Nutrition business performance and strategic initiatives
  • Issue monthly Nutrition BU financial performance review
  • Research and perform corporate financial analysis of potential M&A targets, competitors, and customers
  • Monitor and perform strategic pricing and cost analyses globally, identify trends, and generate insights for optimization
  • Coordinate annual Nutrition BU's Budgeting and monthly forecasting

 

Support strategic projects for the Nutrition Business Unit globally:

  • Lead the development of strategic business cases, valuation modeling (DCF), and articulate the rationale and potential earnings of the projects
  • Support the Bunge Loders Croklaan Nutrition Commercial Leaders with activities related to key projects for the Nutrition BU
  • Collect market data from internal and external sources, including engaging with consulting and market research firms
  • Develop project documentation to engage stakeholders in discussion and for the required stage gates & approvals

 

 

Skills

We are looking for a Finance & Business Development analyst with working knowledge of finance processes that relate to financial reporting, modeling, DCF valuation, purchase-price accounting concepts, EBIT and cash-flow forecasting. Someone who can think strategically and have strong problem-solving skills to be able to develop creative solutions to business challenges.

To be successful you need planning skills, so you can run multiple projects at a time and the ability to develop high-quality written materials and presentations for top management meetings. Next to this you need to act as a champion for data driven decisions and pricing discipline.

 

Experience & Education

  • 3+ years in consulting, finance, or project management
  • Consulting or Investment banking experience strongly preferred
  • Degree in finance, economics, or MBA preferred
  • Business development role in the Food and Ingredient space is a plus

The Finance & Business Development Analyst reports to Eduardo Mastrantonio (https://www.linkedin.com/in/eduardomastrantonio/), the Director of Nutrition Business Development. Eduardo reports to Emiliano Rial Verde (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rialverde/), Bunge Loders Croklaan Nutrition’s Vice President.

Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC) Nutrition is a new Business Unit (BU), created to expand BLC’s customer and product portfolio in the infant, sports, and medical nutrition industries. BLC Nutrition is one of the three strategic growth platforms at Bunge.
