Position Summary:
 
Play a key marketing role in Bunge’s North American food & ingredient business, which is a multi-billion dollar business that creates and sells innovative oil and grain products to top CPG food manufacturers, restaurants, and distributors across the bakery, confectionery, culinary, and nutrition categories. 
 
You will lead key marketing initiatives for Bunge’s B2B oil & grain ingredient businesses as follows: 
 
Bakery marketing lead. 40% of your time will be spent leading all marketing functions for the bakery category, i.e. strategy, insights, innovation, communications in the CPG and foodservice channels.
 
Communications lead. 45% of your time will be spent leading marketing communications for our four key categories—bakery, confectionery, culinary, nutrition—in the CPG and foodservice channels.
 
CPG marketing lead. 15% of your time will be spent leading the marketing strategy and insights for this channel.
 
 
Core Functions:
 
Strategy. Develop/execute strategies that outline key growth priorities for Bunge, the value they create, and a plan to uniquely capture this value versus our competitors. You will need experience in building business plans that integrate insights, financials, customer plans, and operations, and be skilled at transforming this information into a compelling investment story. You should also possess a very good aptitude for understanding the roles/responsibilities of key functions driving our business.
 
Insights. Develop key insights on growth opportunities for Bunge by aligning customer needs, market intelligence, and competitive capabilities to enhance strategy, new product innovation, and customer engagement. You will need very good experience in developing and executing qualitative and quantitative customer questionnaires, qualifying market data, analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources (e.g. Nielsen, NPD, Technomic), creating compelling presentations about business growth opportunities, and understanding our internal capabilities to execute on these opportunities.
 
Innovation. Develop a differentiated world class new product innovation pipeline to meet customer needs in the near- and long-term. You will need very good experience creating new product concepts based on insights; prioritizing these concepts by (i) market potential, (ii) customer needs, and (iii) our business capabilities; showing the feasibility of top ranked concepts through business plans.
 
Communications. Develop/execute a world class communications strategy that positions Bunge as a thought leader in its key categories, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. To achieve this you will create robust media plans, customer engagement tools, and an appropriately branded portfolio. You will need excellent experience in (i) building/executing media plans that optimize media type/placement/content; (ii) developing tools that are unique and clearly convey brand value propositions in alignment with customer needs; (iii) architect a creatively branded portfolio that enhances the commercialization of our products.
 
 
Skill/Experience Requirements:
 
10+ years marketing experience managing major brands/categories in a large/complex food business
Required: MBA or Masters/PhD in Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or Finance; strong writing/verbal skills
Preferred: Bachelors in Journalism, English Literature, or Creative Writing preferable

Drive: steadily moves projects forward, making decisions independently
Team player: positively collaborates with and/or leads cross-functional teams to execute projects
