Overview:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator will primarily provide support sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and managing pre-hire screenings.  The role will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding trainee positions.

Essential Functions:

  • Recruit candidates for internships, entry level and hourly positions including sourcing and screening candidates; collaborate with hiring managers ensuring all HR related items are completed
  • Coordination of candidate interviews and related logistics including airfare, hotel and processing of candidate expense reimbursements
  • Participate in university relations including managing career fair registration, attending job fairs and coordinating student visits, etc.
  • Management of onsite candidate interviews including interview team follow up
  • Point of contact for the pre-employment processes including background checks and drug screens for local and field based positions
  • Serve as primary contact for field HR team related to applicant tracking system and process questions
  • Utilize sourcing techniques including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc. to build candidate pipelines
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • 2-4 years of related HR/Recruiting experience required, preferably in corporate environment required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; prior experience with Success Factors Recruiting Management or similar applicant tracking system is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise a high degree of accuracy with multiple details
  • Ability to maintain objectivity and discretion with confidential information
  • Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and work within a team environment in support of company objectives
  • High level of customer service skills required with the ability to develop effective relationships
  • Travel of 10% may be required with overtime as required
