POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Manager, Pricing Insights, the Senior Pricing Analyst is an essential member of Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC) North America Pricing Team. This individual will be acting as liaison to various functions including Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Trade, in efforts of identifying opportunities to optimize business performance and profitability. The role will work in close collaboration with other Pricing Managers in driving profitability and process improvement opportunities, including segmentation analysis and market intelligence initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Generate framework to identify pricing improvement opportunities and support implementation of initiatives within the organization.
· Analyze market intelligence data to ensure margin expectations remain competitive.
· Support and contribute improvements and efficiencies to pricing insights reporting and dashboarding.
· Collaborate with Sales & Contract team, providing analytics on forecast vs commitment and contracts.
· Coordinate cross-functional efforts to consolidate critical business data for decision making.
· Provide insights and recommendations for changes to price lists, pricing models, and margins.
· Provide insights & support to establish and maintain pricing segmentations.
· Assist in the execution of tracking results on pricing-based initiatives & strategies.
· Support developments in statistical trendlines and identifying outliers.
· Partner with accounting and other functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy in standard costs.
· Update SAP pricing components efficiently and accurately, advising policy and procedural changes as needed.
· Assist in monitoring compliance reporting for all pricing team functions, including SOX reporting.
· Support of systems utilized by the pricing and contracting team, suggesting enhancements as needed, ie: including Salesforce, Tableau, Pricing Engine, etc.
· Partner and serve as backup for pricing team’s SAP functionality testing and training.
· Collaborate on special project assignments as needed.
· Support RFP processes and coordination with other functions.
· Collaborate in developing RFP process enhancements and efficiencies.
SKILL / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Competencies/Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or advanced mathematics
· 5+ years related experience
· Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills required
· Results oriented and self-driven individual
· Leadership skills, including influencing and highly collaborative in group settings
· Strong analytical skills and proven data management experience (3+ years)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge:
· Pricing Strategy / Pricing frameworks
· S&OP / Demand Planning
· Agribusiness pricing (including understanding of commodities market fundamentals)
· Product / Portfolio Management
· Key Account Management
· Business & Financial Modeling
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in Tableau or other BI tools preferred.
Schedule:
