In the role of Junior Logistic and Sustainability Analyst, during the first half year to a year your core focus will be to Support the implementation of sustainability data collection. You will track date and create reports with the aim to support Bunge to be a major contributor to the Sea Cargo Charter initiative (seacargocharter.org/). This is an important project in the industry and the sustainability core focus of your role. 


Next to this focus your role has a day to day logistic operation function based on close cooperation with many stakeholders across the organization. This contains responsibilities such as:

  • Support senior planners in coordinating flows and execution from origin port to destination port assuring an harmonic planning among Value Chains focusing on maximizing Bunge’s overall results
  • Assist in data research projects with historical performance
  • Create and update POLO (our logistic system) with all the shipments planned or changes to shipments including the vessels nomination
  • Lead the calculation and settlement of Load Joint Agreements where and when applicable
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis and presentations
  • Monitor stocks at ports, vessel line-ups, and provide port capacity forecast for Bunge and the industry 
  • Manage and coordinate the freight scheduling together with the freight planning team
  • Be part of e-services platform development and ensure the accuracy of information for line-ups, vessels
  • Track and report savings on seaborne flows

What else do we expect you to bring?
•    A BSc in Logistics or a related field of study
•    Between 1-3 years of experience in Agribusiness with specific trade/logistic experience, which might have been gained during your study;
•    You are a strong user of MS office and would prefer to plan your daily life in Excel. (or you have an even smarter tool which helps you plan)
•    Excellence command of English, (oral and written), any other language is an asset
•    You are located in Geneva.
