  • The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies for the key accounts and countries assigned Key responsibilities for this position will include defining strategies and business plans to achieve BLC’s budgets and Long term plans. Executing lead generation programs that will have a major impact on our future growth and ensure sales requests fit into the overall marketing and sales strategy of BLC.
  • The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy in each of the Core Categories that BLC wants to serve in the market and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • The Marketing manager will require to closely work with related internal functions and business units to deliver the business plan. 
  • Market full product sales range from Bunge and BLC (Specialty fats and oils, Edible oils, functional and specialty food and nutrition ingredients, Protein and others) by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions for food manufactures sales channel.
  • Manage and develop new distribution channel in the assigned market for all Bunge and BLC product range to deliver the annual business plan for the assigned countries and customers
  • Developed and acquired new customers to meet and grow the business plan.
  • Create sufficient potential new opportunities and projects to grow the business.
  • Maintains and strengthened multi-level relationships with existing clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors’ activity.
  • Work closely with Innovation and Application team to promote/introduce new products and commercialize the opportunities for the assigned countries and customers. 
  • Coordinates with back office stafffrom various departments for order processing to ensure fulfillment of customer requirement.
  • Responsible to manage credit and contract risk for the assigned countries, accounts and product lines.
  • Establishes 24 months rolling forecasting and developing annual sales planfor the assigned countries, accounts and product lines.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information and timely update to Regional Sales Manager 
  • Actively track and monitor competition’s activities and pricing, market trend and related industry development.
  • Actively manage and update project opportunities in Salesforce system.

Skills & Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field as well as experience in sales or promotion. 
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in B2B food ingredient manufacturing environment.
  • Able to apply customer service techniques and knowledge of supervisory practices and principles when making sales decisions or establishing long-term relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Ability to think strategically and build strategic marketing plans.
  • Drive and ambition, combined with a positive attitude.
  • Experience creating and implementing Sales and commercial processes.
  • Experience with sales and CRM software like Salesforce and SAP
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing different projects.
  • Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives, and action plans.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Persistently focused on achieving results, even when under pressure.
  • Required frequent local travel and customer visit ( up to 40%)
