What you will be doing as a Human Resources Manager– Nikolaev Plant


The core focus of the HR Manager activity is to plan and execute all the HR processes for location, in close collaboration with business managers, HR Business Partners, Center of Excellence (CoE) and our Shared Service Center (Bunge Business Services). acting as a business partner and consultant for business managers, providing proper solutions and support for HR matters.

 

This will be done through the following main activities:

·    Working with location management to identify and plan for human resource requirements to meet short/long-term business needs.
·    Ensuring that managers across the location carry out the necessary performance management, employee development and other people management activities in full compliance with established HR procedures, processes and standards.
·    Leading the implementation/management of all compensation and benefits programs 
·    Aligns people practices, analyzes organizational structure, finds synergies, drives changes
·    Fosters engagement in the location, ethical behavior, organizational values, drives open communication and acts as HR point of contact for managers and employees
·    Executes actions needed to implement HR processes and employee cycle end-to-end for the specific location – recruitment, hiring, employee admin, termination, evaluation, performance management, development, retention, succession, employee relations, compensation, negotiations with union
·    Act as advisor to the management for people and organizational related issues
·    Makes decisions based on analytics, data, trends and proposes solutions – asks these data to the HR Operations to ensure data and analytics driven decisions which support the business and the function
·    Implements Bunge’s global and regional HR initiatives for the supported functions in a way that the impact and quality level of such initiatives are maximized and compatible to the local needs
·    Supports talent management process across the functions ,workforce planning and budgeting processes by estimating the needs of the functions
·    Stays up to date with legal provisions related to employment and takes appropriate actions when needed to align 
·    Ensures permanent alignment with the global HR policies, procedures and practices

 

The position is based in Nikolaev and coordinates a team of 2 people, having approx. 400 employees in scope. It will report to our HRBP Black Sea region, located in Kiev.

Furthermore, you do also like to manage rigorously the necessary operational and reporting tasks, paying proper attention to ensure compliance to Bunge rules.


 What else do we expect? 
 

  • University degree- preferably with a major in Human Resources, Psychology, Economics
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, with minimum 3 years of relevant Business Partner role in a complex matrix organisation, preferably with production activities
  • Good knowledge of Ukrainian labor legislation, social security and payroll management;
  • Experience in working with unions and resolving employee relation issues
  • Project management skills 
  • Ukrainian and English proficiency
  • 1C knowledge 
  • Training delivery experience is a plus
  • MS Office- intermediate level.
