Officer-Material Planning

Overview

1. To plan, receive and monitoring daily incoming materials (additives & packaging) steady uninterrupted supply of materials to support production schedules.  
2. Ensure inventory & flow of materials (Additives & Packaging) sufficient supply to meet productions & operations needs while minimizing cost

Details

1. Develop & maintain material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedule & forecast.
2. Monitor inventory level & for reordering & generate purchase requisition to maintain optimal stock levels
3. Work closely with Production team to align material availability with production schedule 
4. Coordinate with procurement & warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and storage materials.
5. Maintain accurate records of material planning, usage & procurement data
6. To organize monthly and annual Stock Take and perform reconcilation
7. Data key in to SAP systems - GMR, MR. MRR & MRS
8. Assist in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements
9. Any other job assigned by management      

Requirement

1. Min Diploma and above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related filed.
2. At least 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, store management (preferable experience in manufacturing or production planning environment
3. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or just in-time (JIT) principles.
