We are looking for an eager Human Resources (HR) Generalist for our office at Porto Corsini, Italy. Are you Bunge’s new go-to HR virtuoso when it comes to our policies and best practices? Will you aim to ensure compliance with laws and regulations together with your HR Operations team?

The role of HR Generalist 
Your daily agenda will be filled with HR service delivery, support and providing advice to the local leaders. We want to see you become their trusted advisor and share your enthusiasm and inspiration through many creative ideas for various Bunge’s HR programs. 

Internally, you will work in the alignment with country HR Management on:

  • Supporting the employees and leaders in employment lifecycle matters;
  • Fulfilling company’s legal requirements in payroll and occupational health services etc. (accountable for the Collective Labor Agreement); 
  • Actively driving for talent development in performance management and succession planning processes;
  • Partnering across Center of Expertise (COE) on HR operational activities in country/plant/site (recruiting, training & benefits programs). 

Externally, you will manage the Trade Unions, 3rd party service providers (payroll & healthcare), Recruitment agencies, Relocation agencies, Universities and other similar contacts. 

What do you bring to the role? 
During absence or holidays of the HR Manager you will step up and act as HR Business partner. We are therefore looking for a candidate who has the confidence and ambition to do this.
In your career, you have built strong experience in Labor Laws and EU Labor Regulations. You know how to reconcile budgeting activities and most importantly, you can work in a matrix organization. Additionally, you have: 


  • A Bachelor or University degree in HR / Applied Sciences / Business / Arts; 
  • 5-10 years of HR Experience, specifically in human resources generalist role;
  • Experience in Corporate Climate Surveys;
  • Italian and English language fluency.
