The Product Manager will optimize Bunge’s B2B oils profitability for one or more specific product lines and assets within the Asian region, by linking the commercial functions including sales, marketing, innovation and trading, and in close alignment with finance, operations and supply chain. The focus is on executing and adapting the strategy and related product roadmaps building on latest market and business insights. The product manager will be a key player in setting the commercial gameplans and monitoring it’s execution in close alignment with the sales leads. The function will create and provide critical market/pricing insights, align on best commercial capacity utilization and product developments. The product manager will work in close collaboration with the cross functional leadership team to drive strategic and tactical portfolio decision and help coordinate high impact operational issues. The role will lead and support business development projects, which are part of the defined product roadmaps and help implement and execute the set strategy.



  • Develop and adapt the product roadmaps supporting the regional strategy to ensure maximizing profitability and driving sales volume and margin goals.
  • Drive and coordinate the New Product Development process – manage the health of and prioritization within the product development pipeline; work with Sales and Marketing to identify relevant consumer needs and trends; work with Innovation and R&D to evaluate product modifications and new product development to cater to these; evaluate the business case for new product development; take responsibility for product launches, coordinating various tasks across marketing, sales, application testing, pricing and operations.
  • Understand market trends, internal capabilities and product value proposition to support the Pricing team in providing price guidance to the Sales team.
  • Optimize customer/product mix and product portfolio by location in order to maximize profit and adapt to new trends in the market.
  • Optimize plant capacity utilization to maximize profitability. Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and help implement key initiatives.
  • Support monthly P&L analysis, benchmark results and align on financial roadmap and budget targets.
  • Support the monthly Product Management Review





  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Supply Chain Management 
  • 5+ years related experience in managing the product life cycle in FMCG, food and agriculture industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment and across multiple geographies
  • Influencing skills and highly collaborative in group settings
  • Strong analytical skills and proven data management experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Product / Portfolio Management preferred
  • Value Proposition Development
  • Pricing Strategy / Pricing frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of BI preferred



  • Standard office hours, late-evening calls with Europe/US teams 1-2 times a week
  • Some travel required
