The role

Our communications team has the valuable responsibility of defining, preparing and implementing the communication plan and strategy for the business areas they partner with. You’ll be an essential communications business partner, supporting business leaders, driving and ensuring internal communication is at all times aligned with the Bunge culture and brand strategy.

In this role you will collaborate closely with the broader communications team, the leadership team of the business segment you’ll partner with, as well as with cross functional global, regional and country partners. With a hands on approach, you will implement all the communication tactics and deliver communications that empower, engage, inform and support business priorities and organizational change. Key to the role is a pragmatic approach as the activities of the internal communication should lead to improved, faster and more successful adoption of change to drive organizational success.

Key responsibilities

  • Owning, developing and carrying out end-to-end communications strategies and plans in close collaboration with the communications and leadership teams, customers and partners across countries, regions and at global level.
  • Plan, write and edit consistently engaging content in simple language for employees through a variety of communication channels and tools, including intranet articles, email, video, executive messages, briefing documents, announcements, presentations, talking points, newsletters, fact sheets, reports and scripts.
  • Drive, monitor, measure and improve key communication tools and channels and develop new and alternative ideas, based on feedback, to ensure key messages are delivered in the most effective manner to engage and drive the right behavior.
  • Provide communications support to key strategic organizational change projects and initiatives, proactively identifying and delivering communication opportunities.

What you bring

  • A communications related degree.
  • Proven and detailed experience in a communications role within a global matrix organization, handling large, complex projects and programs.
  • Experience in developing, leading and implementing end-to-end delivery of communication strategies within a wide range of sectors/services.
  • Deep knowledge of communication tools and channels and some level of visual design skills.
  • A highly professional level of business English. Spanish and Portuguese are valued.

Naturally you communicate in an attractive way, with an eloquent and clear viewpoint on complicated issues, crafting concise and well-written persuasive narratives.
