Key Position Responsibilities:

  •  As a senior member of the Global Rewards COE, contribute to the overall strategy, design, integration, communication and execution of all elements of total remuneration.
  •  Lead the ongoing analysis, assessment, design, approval, delivery process and communication for all elements of Executive Committee and Non-Employee Director Total Direct Compensation.
  • Assume overall responsibility for the Bunge Employee Equity Incentive Plan including ongoing review, evaluation and evolution ensuring the program continues to focus on business and talent management strategy and the drivers of shareholder value creation.  Develop global grant guidelines, monitor share utilization, prepare shareholder proposals for additional share authorizations and or approval of new plans and manage the recommendation and approval process.  Oversee all aspects of Stock Plan Administration.
  • Ensure Bunge’s commodities trading and financial services incentive programs continue to align with the business strategy and risk management policies including the preparation of competitive pay and funding analyses.
  • Contribute to the coordination of all Board Compensation Committee activities including the development of individual meeting agendas and preparation / review of meeting materials.
  • Contribute to the development of annual shareholder and proxy advisor engagement plan and the preparation of presentation materials and FAQ’s.
  • Prepare the compensation tables and update the Compensation Discussion and Analysis for the annual proxy statement.
  • Act as Chief Rewards Risk Officer viewing all proposed compensation programs and actions through the lens of shareholders and proxy advisors and relative to SEC, Section 162(m), FAS123R, Section 409A, Dodd-Frank and Bunge internal guidelines and requirements.
  • Ensure our portfolio of core and satellite HR systems meet the current and future requirements to drive global workforce effectiveness.
  • Lead the development of global HR data architecture, governance and harmonization necessary to facilitate workforce planning, reporting and predictive analytics.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a continuous workforce planning, governance and tracking system and the evolution to predictive analytics and modelling.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 10 years of diverse and global compensation experience in a corporate or consulting environment covering all elements of total direct compensation;
  • Subject matter expertise in all aspects of long term / equity incentive programs

including analysis, assessment, design, communication, approval, delivery process and stock plan administration on a global basis along with commensurate knowledge of the valuation, accounting and taxation of the various forms of long term incentive awards;

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver flexible, creative reward strategies that link directly to the drivers of shareholder value;
  • Proven ability to develop and manage the communication strategies that create and continuously reinforce employee engagement;
  • A history of successful interaction and influence with all levels of stakeholders;
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the financial, legal and tax

implications of various executive compensation alternatives;

  • Strong leadership and people management skills;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written and oral communications skills;
  • Strong presentation skills with presence to gain credibility with all levels of stakeholders;
  • Experience working in a global organization;
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required. An M.B.A. or advanced degree preferred.
