Are you our new sales superstar who shares our passion(s)? Come and join our extraordinary team dedicated to deliver high quality solutions to our customers. As Sales Manager BeNeLux you will lead all aspects of Bunge Loders Croklaan’s commercial activity with a focus on developing and implementing a regional strategy, optimizing existing and acquiring new business. We are serving FMCG customers in various categories (such as confectionery, bakery, culinary, savory), with a strong focus on exciting market trends such as Plant Based & Organic. Together with our customers, we continuously focus on development of innovative solutions that fit their specific needs.

 

As Sales Manager you really are in the centre of the action. Above all, you are a ‘’hunter’’ – always driven by new acquisitions and your talent to open doors to new markets and customers. You help develop and test the team approach and liaise strongly with the broader sales (leadership) team, the product management team, trading, supply chain, customer service, marketing and innovation departments to deliver the best value propositions. You’ll be responsible for all sales matters including accountability of the regional budget. 

 

What do we expect from you?

You identify profitable solutions, lead negotiations, and set products terms and prices. You are our eyes and ears in the market always staying on top of innovations. A true ambassador with an untameable stamina towards creating results, and on the lookout for positive outcomes. 

 

This role requires you to be flexible in mobility. We expect you to visit customers across the countries and take part in trade fairs and industry events, with the aim to acquire and develop new customers. Your professional network and knowledge on trends make you the trusted advisor to both colleagues within and outside the Bunge Loders Croklaan business unit.

 

What do you bring to the role?

  • Fluency in Dutch and English;
  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Economics, Food Science, Agri-Culture or related area;
  • 5+ years of sales experience (B2B), preferably with an established network in the world of food ingredients; 
  • Some (technical) understanding of vegetable oils & fats application;
  • Willingness to travel (50% + expected).
