In this role of Regional Sales Manager France – Food Specialties you are in charge of Bunge Loders Croklaan’s commercial activity in France, developing and implementing a regional strategy, focusing on optimizing existing and acquiring new business. We are serving FMCG customers in various categories such as confectionery, bakery, culinary, savory and (infant) nutrition with a wide variety of solutions.  Strong focus is on exciting market trends such as Plant Based, Organic and Nutriscore, where we continuously focus on development of innovative solutions together with our customers that fits their specific needs.


As Regional Sales Manager you really are in the centre of the action. You help develop and test the team approach and liaise strongly with the broader sales (leadership) team, the product management team, trading, supply chain, customer service, marketing and innovation departments to deliver the best value propositions. You’ll be responsible for all sales matters including accountability of the regional budget. Above all you develop a real customer intimacy, nourishing established business and draw up account plans for selected customers and open doors to new markets and customers. You identify profitable solutions, lead negotiations and set products terms and prices. 


This role requires you to be flexible in mobility. Visiting customers across the country and taking part in trade fairs and industry events, with the aim to acquire and develop new customers. Your professional network and knowledge on trends make you the trusted advisor to both colleges within and outside the Bunge Loders Croklaan business unit and to customers.

What do we expect from you?


You are a sales professional who loves to build new relations (hunter) and is able to maintain them. You are the eyes and ears in the market, enjoy to stay on top of innovations and share them in the broader team, for whom you are a connector and contributor to extended team engagement. A true ambassador with an untameable stamina towards creating result, and always looking for a positive outcome. 


What else do you need to bring?



  • Native French and fluency in English;
  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Economics, Food Science, Agri-Culture or related area;
  • You bring at least 5 years of sales experience (B2B), preferable with an established network in the world of food ingredients; Some technical understanding of vegetable oils & fats application. 
  • The willingness to travel (50% + expected)
