As Bunge Loders Croklaan, we strive to deliver each order in a perfect way, in which the order arrives in full, on time and first time right. As Supervisor Export Services with Bunge Loders Croklaan, you have the essential role to enable the business to deliver our quality products to export markets. This means you are responsible for approximately 2.000 export shipments per year, servicing more than 100 customers in over 50 countries!


You’ll be part of the Supply Chain team, and together with your team of 2 colleagues, you are specialized in coordinating all export activities in regard to documents. You will not only be leading the team, you are also responsible to lead process optimization projects. This means, based on your up-to-date knowledge of the latest export legislation and market movements you’ll be implementing best industry practices and developing software tools to be ready for the future and further growth.

This is a great opportunity to build a newly created team and to truly have an impact in a business critical environment. As Supervisor Export Services you are responsible for a smooth execution of export documents. This means you can face challenging situations in which the needed information if not completely available in that point of time, whilst the shipment is waiting to be dispatched. This situation demands clear-problem solving, and a helicopter view and swift anticipation to solve the issue and let the shipment depart to our customer. However, the major opportunity is in the area of further optimizing the core-processes and software tools, to become ready for the future.


What do you bring to the role?


  • A Bachelor degree or work and think level and a Customs Consultant diploma
  • 5+ years of work experience in related field and 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrable Project Management experience.
  • Experienced with issuing export documentation
  • Knowledge of export legislation and customs formalities
  • Experienced with using and implementing tools like SAP and Stratech (Shipments and SPS)
  • Fluent communication skills (both written and spoken) in Dutch and in English
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an international and Matrix organization / environment.


Besides being demonstrable experienced in leading projects and developing processes, you are a great facilitator and driver of change. You have the capacity to bring together people and departments. You thrive in a role where you're able to define and lead rather than following set expectations.
