Bunge est à la recherche d’un Assistant opérateur (bassin de remplacement) pour son usine de transformation de graines oléagineuses de Bécancour.

Ce que vous ferez :

• Suivre les instructions sur les responsabilités et les attentes quotidiennes émanant du superviseur et être affecté à des tâches de chargement et de déchargement de camions et wagons.
• Aider à la production dans toutes les tâches reliées à l’usine de préparation, d’extraction et de raffinerie.
• Échantillonner du grain.
• Promouvoir un environnement de travail et un comportement sécuritaire.
• Identifier un environnement et des pratiques de travail non sécuritaire et en aviser les superviseurs.
• Maintenir et conserver un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire.
• Surveiller les équipements en faisant des routines de contrôle régulièrement (TPM).
• Assurer une bonne communication avec les membres de l’équipe.
• Prêter assistance aux superviseurs et autres membres de l'équipe.

Compétences / Exigences :

• Diplôme d’études secondaires (DES).
• Expérience en usine (un atout)
• Capacité à travailler sur des quarts de travail de 12 heures (jour et nuit).
• Aptitude confirmée à travailler efficacement dans un environnement d'équipe.
• Capacité à utiliser des équipements mobiles tels que Chariot élévateur, chargeuse sur roues (loader), locotracteur.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement de travail avec Poussière, produits chimiques, bruits, travail en hauteur, travail en espaces clos, température ambiante contrôlée et non contrôlée.
• Capacité d'organiser et de prioriser les activités pour respecter les délais.

Bunge is seeking for an Assistant Operator (replacement basin) for its Oilseed Processing facility located in Becancour.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Follows instructions on responsibilities and daily expectations from supervisor and is assigned to loading and unloading trucks and railcars.
• Assists the production department in all tasks related to the preparation, extraction and refinery operations.
• Performs grain sampling.
• Promotes a safe working environment and behavior.
• Identifies unsafe work environments and practices and notifies supervisors.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Monitors equipment by doing regular check routines (TPM).
• Ensures good communication with team members.
• Assists supervisors and other team members.

Skills/Experience Requirements: 

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Work experience in a facility (an asset)
• Ability to work on 12 hour shifts (day and night).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to use mobile equipment such as Forklift, wheel loader, shuttle wagon.
• Ability to work in an environment with: Dust, chemicals, noise, working at heights, working in confined spaces, controlled and uncontrolled room temperature.
• Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet deadlines.

• A premium of $2.50 applicable to all hours worked on the 12-hour shift schedule.

• Eligibility to participate in the RRSP plan after 6 months of employment, which includes a company matching contribution up to 6%
