Business Technology Partner Commercial & Sustainability EMEA & APAC

Overview:

The Business Technology Partner (BTP) Regional Lead EMEA & APAC is a key strategic liaison bridging Bunge Technology (BT) with regional business leaders across Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. This pivotal regional role focuses on understanding and shaping business strategy, primarily identifying and driving transformational programs (e.g., Digital Platforms, Advanced Analytics) under the Global Business Solutions team. The BTP will operate as a strategic thought partner, providing insights, challenging assumptions, and actively contributing to strategic discussions to drive business value and transformation impact across diverse business models, maturity levels, and regulatory environments. This role requires exceptional business acumen, a strong understanding of transformation technologies, and superior relationship-driven leadership skills, fostering a strategic partnership that extends beyond a traditional technology interface. The BTP Regional Lead EMEA & APAC will report directly to the Business Technology Partner Director.

Main Accountabilities:

• Business Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of the diverse regional business models, strategic objectives, market trends, and regulatory environments across EMEA & APAC, spanning Origination & Sustainability (upstream) and Downstream value chains (food, feed, and fuel).
• Solution Identification: Proactively identify, shape, and challenge opportunities to leverage advanced business technologies for transformational programs (e.g., Digital Platforms, Advanced Analytics), enhancing business processes, customer experience, and achieving regional strategic objectives, under the Global Business Solutions team.
• Roadmap Contribution: Actively contribute to the development and evolution of regional and global business technology roadmaps, ensuring regional priorities are seamlessly integrated with global capabilities, with a strong emphasis on value creation and transformational impact, aligning with business strategy and industry best practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with senior regional business leaders across
• Origination & Sustainability and Downstream value chains, acting as a key connection between regional business and the BT organization. Ensure effective communication and collaborative partnership with global and regional technology teams and diverse stakeholders across EMEA & APAC.
• Program Guidance & Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and oversight for transformation programs within the region, collaborating closely with dedicated or matrixed Project Managers (as the portfolio grows) to ensure successful delivery against budgets, resources, and timelines. This role focuses on strategic enablement rather than direct project execution.
• Value Realization: Lead the establishment of clear metrics to track the business impact, value creation, and transformational outcomes of regional technology investments, ensuring direct alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Communication: Serve as a critical communication bridge and trusted thought partner between senior regional business leaders and the BT organization, proactively facilitating strategic discussions, conveying insights, and ensuring transparency regarding transformation program status, challenges, and successes.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:

• Deep understanding of diverse regional business processes and advanced technology solutions for transformation programs (e.g., Digital Platforms, Advanced Analytics).
• Knowledge of digital transformation methodologies (agile, lean, DevOps).
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture, cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging technologies relevant to large-scale transformation.
• Ability to translate complex regional business needs into strategic technology requirements and vice-versa.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to challenge and influence.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field with 7-10 years of experience in a technology-focused role, ideally with experience in business partnership and solution delivery.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating in-depth knowledge of business technology partnership and a basic understanding of related disciplines will also be considered.
• Relevant industry experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Experience managing small to medium sized budgets and resources.
