Risk Solution Architect

Overview: 

Risk Solution Architect COE will be responsible for all Risk and treasury processes within the global SAP Team defining, deploying and maintaining all business processes and functionality in the SAP Risk/Treasury module. Manage live countries in Southern Cone under Global leadership guidance on SAP with controlling month end activities, analysis, and management reporting. Maintains current analytical tools across the solution plus champions the functional development specifications of new analytical tools in order to support country middle-office controllers/Treasurers. 

Main Accountabilities:

• Owner for all Agri/Food Risk/Treasury business processes and SAP Agri/Food Risk/treasury solutions plus actively participate to the alignment across all countries globally.
• Maintains current SAP & analytical tools across the solution plus champions the development of new features / processes of the Risk/Treasury tools
• Drives the set-up, deployment and support of the SAP Risk solution including MTM, Risk reports, P&L reports and Treasury solution (Derivatives, FX contracts managements and reporting).
• Participate actively to new projects (enhancements, new rules elaboration) with the key business representative
• Develop functional specifications to answer gaps / business needs to further streamline the processes and the daily/month end closing procedures
• Perform deep solution & process testing to ensure stability and quality of the SAP Risk Solutions
• Keep current all documentation and training materials for all Risk/Treasury procedures 
• Support countries or HQ with controlling or Treasury team with management information analysis, helping to explain the major reasons for changes in key measurements. Ensure a standardised approach to business performance management and financial measurement for all units (common definition and use of analytical tools).
• Responsible for the success, quality and delivery of solutions in the whole product lifecycle as defined in the portfolio. Contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of Risk processes

Education/Experience:

• Degree in Economics, or Administration or equivalent financial qualification (CPA).
• 5+ years experience in one/several SAP areas (MM/SD, controlling / Treasury module) or as SAP business key users 
• Business experience in the area of Risk position / MTM and P&Ls 
• US GAAP, SOX, mark to market principles gained in commodity trading company / project.
• Good knowledge in SAP Forex (realized and unrealized), inventory valuation and accruals is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English; any other language is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, ability to structure and work in complex environment.
• Strong Excel skills a must and ability to analyse important volumes of data
• Flexibility in terms of time-zone differences 
• Travel up to 20% of the total working time
• Knowledge of project management practices
• Commodity trading business experience is a plus
