Overview:
The IT Senior Auditor is directly responsible for leading the day to day execution of audit fieldwork, all its technical approach and close communication with the auditees from management. Being the key executor of the planning and reporting phases of an audit is also a relevant role. Work involves owning Technology review projects that are consistent with the function’s methodology and protocols; providing IT advisory services to management; properly scoping and assessing technology risks for each project; and integrating with other functions and coaching to less experienced auditors from the Global Internal Audit. Upholds all organizational and professional ethical standards. Works independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Activities and Responsibilities:

Owns global technology audit projects and leads IT auditors in conducting interviews, assessing risks, designing work programs and their testing procedures, composing memos with high quality wording, and staying up to date with the methodology requirements and their changes.

Exercise professional judgment, including identifying and defining technology issues, exceptions and deviations, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.

Runs the assessment of impact, likelihood, and velocity for IT risks associated with the audit issues and work on their corresponding recommendations.

Interfaces directly with local management by supporting opening and closing meetings for projects.

Monitors and reports audit activity status and budget to Project Manager and/or Project Sponsor and notifies Operations & Administration of project scheduling. Communicates the results of audit and advisory projects via written reports and oral presentations to the Project Manager and Project Sponsor.

Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

Assists Audit Managers with identifying and evaluating the organization's risk areas and provides key input to the development of the Audit Plan.

Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.

Represents Global Internal Audit on organizational project teams and at management meetings.

Provides, or assists in providing, training, coaching, and guidance to Global Internal Audit professionals in conducting audits and other audit-related issues.

Performs related work as assigned by Global Internal Audit Management Team.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in System Analysis, IT Management, Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or a closely related field.

5 to 10 years of experience in IT audit or a related field, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or project management capacity.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Ability to apply a business-focused approach to internal audit functions.

Understanding of audit methodologies and protocols, with a proactive approach to staying updated on changes.

Strong knowledge and practical experience with: IT General Controls, Technology Risks, SOX, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, CISA and Attestation (SOC Reports).

Fluent English (required).

Fluent/Advanced Spanish (preferred).
