Senior Business System Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business System Analyst to join the Business System Analysis Center of Excellence within the Business Technology (BT) organization. This role plays a critical part in bridging business needs and technical solutions by shaping strategies, proposing approaches to complex problems, and enabling fast, agile resolution using existing or new system features.

The Senior BSA develops a deep understanding of business processes, goals, and objectives, while also maintaining strong technical knowledge of system landscapes, including data, integrations, and internal and external dependencies. This broad perspective allows the Senior BSA to efficiently propose solutions, guide delivery teams, and support stakeholders in achieving business goals through effective use of systems and data.

Required Experience

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, goals, and strategies
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project deliverables across all phases of the project lifecycle
• Propose issue resolution approaches that enable agile execution and iterative delivery
• Build and manage backlogs, supporting incremental value delivery and MVP concepts
• Identify and assess the impact of change requests across business applications and dependent systems
• Liaise with onsite and offshore development teams to track progress, resolve issues, and communicate status
• Plan and lead system validation activities, including functional testing and UAT
• Maintain communication with data providers’ IT teams to report outages or data discrepancies
• Define, document, and promote standards and best practices within the BSA discipline
• Communicate business and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Basic SQL skills
• Certification or training in system or business notation (e.g., UML, BPMN) and documentation standards

Graduation and Language

• Education: Bachelor’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Language: English – Fluent or Advanced
