Relocation Opportunity for Experienced Crushing Production Supervisor.

We are looking for international talent holding an EU passport, enabled to work in the Netherlands. Are you a seasoned Production Supervisor with a proven track record in the crushing industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Production Supervisor to join our state-of-the-art soybean crush plant in Amsterdam. If you possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of crushing operations, we encourage you to apply, even if relocation to the Netherlands is required. 

 

The Bunge Amsterdam Soy Crush Plant, a facility located in the Port of Amsterdam, plays a crucial role in the European oilseed processing industry. With a substantial annual processing capacity, the plant efficiently crushes soybeans and rapeseed, producing high-quality protein meal and vegetable oil for food and animal feed. As a key part of Bunge's global network, the Amsterdam facility benefits from optimized logistics and strategically serves customers across Northern Europe and beyond. The plant's location in the bustling Port of Amsterdam provides excellent access to both raw material imports and finished product distribution channels. What You'll Do:

Picture this: You arrive at our innovative facility, ready to take on the day.
Your mission? To ensure the operation and optimization of our production processes. If a fault is detected, you'll put on your detective hat, diagnose the issue, and implement a resolution. You're not just maintaining the status quo; you're actively seeking ways to improve it.

But it's not a solo mission. You'll be collaborating with colleagues from various departments, sharing your expertise and working together to fine-tune the entire production process. Think of it as a team sport, where everyone contributes their unique skills to achieve a common goal. And because we're always pushing the boundaries of innovation, you'll be involved in improvement projects, implementing new techniques and technologies to keep us ahead of the curve. Your day might involve troubleshooting a technical glitch, brainstorming with the team on process improvements, or training colleagues on new equipment every day is a chance to make a real impact.

As a vital part of our team, you will

  • Troubleshoot: Locate and resolve faults in production systems to ensure operations.
  • Finetune: Improving the process, and calibrate measuring and control the crushing lines.
  • Collaborate for success: work closely with colleagues and other departments to optimize production processes.
  • Champion Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures, creating a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
  • Drive Innovation: Contribute to improvement projects and implement new techniques.

Your Expertise:

  • Education: A completed Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Chemical engineering a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading production teams.
  • Technical Skills: A strong affinity for industrial automation and process control, along with knowledge of crushing.
  • Soft Skills: Being an example for colleagues, Good communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently and within a team are vital to your success.
  • Adaptability: Being agile in change and leading teams to improvements.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English ensures effective communication across our diverse team.
