Junior Trader

Thailand is one of the largest markets in Asia for feed ingredient & oilseeds business with a strong feed, meat and local crush industry presence to serve the local and export demand. Bunge has leadership position in Thailand SBM through its Brazil HP meal assets and aspirations to grow the share in beans and grains through strong customer connectivity with local crushers, flour and feed millers.

The role will be primarily accountable for assisting the execution of Thailand marketing plan for CNF grains and oilseeds complex with the respective value chains, pipeline execution management, customer account management for targeted customers and be the point person for local market intelligence and SND (supply and demand) updates.

Main Accountabilities

1. Trade Administration

• Responsible for receiving, sending and monitoring customers’ daily and nightly pricing orders
• Responsible in aligning with Singapore/Chicago/Geneva pricing team on buyers pricing positions such as filled order, working GTCs, FRM trades, balance to price, final price calculations and confirm the same to customers on daily basis
• Responsible for creating new contracts in the system and ensuring trade details are aligned internally and externally

2. Commercial

• Assist the commercial team in developing and executing Thailand marketing plan for both containers & bulk vessel business in close collaboration with Asia, and global value chains
• Manage the CNF plans for grains to assigned customers by directly engaging the respective value chains and private negotiation/tender customers
• Provide information and assistance to the commercial team when required
• Any ad hoc activities as assigned

3. Research

• Responsible for updating local animals and feed materials prices to research team on weekly basis
• Responsible for updating import and export statistics for grains, oilseeds and any related ingredients as required
• Provide market intelligence to the team and participate in regional SND discussions

2. Education/Experience  

• Relevant Industry experience of 3 years
• Degree Graduate qualification
