We are looking for a Trade Finance Execution Specialist to support Bunge's international trade operations. This role requires a professional with hands-on experience in Letters of Credit (LCs), trade finance processes, banking coordination, and international trade documentation.

 

Please note: Ideally you will be based in Barcelona or surroundings.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs).
  • Structure, review, and process LCs in line with banking and trade requirements.
  • Monitor payment flows and support financial execution of international trade transactions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for banks and financial institutions.
  • Review and validate shipping and logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L).
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, company policies, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and banking partners to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in Trade Finance, with strong knowledge of Letters of Credit.
  • Understanding of international trade documentation and payment processes.
  • Experience liaising with banks and financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of Bills of Lading, UCP, and Incoterms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
