Extraction Operator

This position is located in the Bunge soybean processing plant in Bellevue, OH.  The Prep Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently running the prep building in the crush department.

The position is paid $29.09 per hour. Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire, there is a perfect attendance award, and an annual bonus.

Core Functions:

• Operate cracking and flaking rolls in prep building.
• Monitor control room computers and ensure all quality and efficiency standards are met.
• Record data for current shift in regard to bean, crack, flake and meal quality.
• Perform regular checks and make adjustments on equipment as needed.
• Communicate process and equipment deficiencies with other operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors. 
• Assist other operators as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform department sanitation duties.

Skill/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Basic computer and mechanical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (possibly nights), holidays and weekends and overtime.
• Good attendance.
