Production Operator

A Day in the Life:

The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Soy Protein Concentrate Operator (SPC). 

Position Details:

Night Shift; 4:45p-5:00a

This position works a 12-hour rotating schedule, including holidays & weekends.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintain and operate SPC equipment in department
• Follow a production schedule
• Produce in-spec product
• Perform assigned sanitation/keep building clean
• Monitor equipment and document process log sheet readings
• Load bulk trucks with molasses / unload bulk tankers.
• Work with chemicals in a PSM environment
• Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements

  Required Skills/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Required – Minimum of 18 years old
• Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and policies
• Able to work 12-hour shifts
• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
• Ability to operate various types of machinery is required
• Ability to take direction and work as a team is required
• Good attendance and reliability are critical
• Good communication skills

Physical Work and Environment Requirements:

• Must be able to tolerate soybean and dust as possible allergens at a soybean processing plant 
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to work tolerate working at various heights as required on man lifts
