A Day in the Life:
The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a QC Utility Operator for our processing/refinery plant. This position is responsible for cleaning and environmental testing promoting plant GMP’s & food safety.
Position Details:
- Night Shift; 4:45p-5:00a (rotating 12-hour shifts)
- Must have availability to work weekends & holidays
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating and maintaining Safe Quality Food Standards
- Properly dispenses and utilizes chemical chemicals with required PPE.
- Conform to Bunge’s policy and procedures including, but not limited to: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Lock Out/Tag Out, HACCP check points, Bunge Quality Standards, Fall Protection, Hot Work, OSHA Regulations, and all others.
- Data entry of sanitation records in MS Excel, respond to and assist QA supervisor/manager with EMP Swab via MS-Outlook, assist production supervisor/manager in ATP Swab/equipment logging results in spreadsheets, preform training via computer.
- Follows the sanitation schedule plan created by the supervisor/manager
- Filling the GMP supplies (footies, hairnets, beard nets)
- Assisting with the Environmental Monitoring Program
- Maintaining cleanliness within the department
- Operating equipment such as a floor scrubber, floor sweeper, centralized vacuum systems and foaming equipment.
- Operating mobile equipment such as a box truck, forklift & scissor and boom lifts.
- Responsible for the department’s drain cleaning program
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and policies
- Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
- Ability to operate various types of machinery, required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Physical Work and Environment Requirements:
- Must be able to tolerate soybean and dust as possible allergens at a soybean processing plant
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Ability to work tolerate working at various heights as required on man lifts
