Role Purpose Statement

This role will be responsible for production of global risk (Market & Credit risk) reports including reconciliations and analysis, analysis of risk statements, responsible for working in liaise with all internal and external stakeholders such as traders, commercial team, risk business partner and finance business partners.

The successful candidate will work closely work with risk, delta teams to understand and develop new reports and enhance existing reports in tableau, support SLA’s for key deliverables etc. It's a critical role as activities and daily deliverables of this role directly impacts the Bunge's business."

 

Main Accountabilities

• Build working relationships with front office traders and finance partner team.

• Coordination with internal departments to establish standardized pricing, position, and risk metrics agreements.

• Performing daily reconciliation of both Fixed and Basis price as per Value Chain and report the differences to global risk team.

• Ensure all position are captured in Delta (OPS). Working with trading, accounting & delta team for missing positions.

• Adjusting/correcting the position in Delta for missing, wrongly updated position from source.

• Coordinating the work of the reporting Market Risk team to ensure timely, accurate and relevant information is sent through the organization including daily risk dashboards and limit reports.

• Monitor the trading activity and compliance with limits for specific commercial desks.

• Working with Director, Sr Manager and Other team members to ensure accurate analysis and reporting of market risk exposures.

• Create risk reports using Tableau desktop version, summarizing key positions by VC and at more granular levels.

• Working across a large array of commodities and markets (physical and derivative)

• Coaching trainees and newcomers on company and process activities.

• Produce and retain documentation in accordance with internal and external policies and procedures’ requirements.

Technical

. Knowledge in Finance/Market Risk/Trading concepts (e.g.: Commodity futures/options, Fixed & Basis price position, Hedging, Trading etc)

. Excellent communication and presentation skills

. The successful applicant will be a detailed-oriented, results-driven, team player. He/she will have demonstrated an ability to lead the discussion on reconciliation and analysis with key stakeholders (e.g. Commercial Team, Risk Business Partner, Finance Business Partner)

. Ability to provide high quality level of customer service to internal & external stakeholders.

. Ability to work independently, efficiently and deliver high quality output under time pressure

. Strong problem solving & organizational skills

. Strong written & oral communications skills in English

. Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)   

Education & Experience

  • University degree (Graduation, MBA , CMA or CA).
  • 4-6 years of working experience in finance/accounting/risk, preferably in Agri industry.

 

Distinct Advantage

. Experience working in a similar Shared Services Centre setup

. Knowledge of trading term i.e. Fixed/Basis price, Futures, Options

. Strong customer service, communication skills/soft skills

. Working exposure in commodity industry
