Role Purpose Statement

 

The position is responsible for support Order to cash (OTC) function in performing Billing, cash application, customer clearing, running different reports, dispute management, collection.

.

 

Main:

 

  • Timely and correct booking of subledger of all payments received in bank.
  • Apply Payments against invoices as per the remittance details provided by the client.
  • Booking adjustments for discounts, refund, and cash in advance cases as well as accounting entries for provision for doubtful debts during month close
  • Regular clearing of advances against the invoice
  • End to End knowledge of billing, issue credit/Debit Note
  • Follow-up with sales/execution team for remittance details, if required
  • Timely clearing of sub-ledger, follow-up on old, aged items with different teams
  • Provide details to accounting team regarding customer advances.
  • Complete various reports on time with accuracy
  • Meet SLA and KPI target each month
  • Support Internal and external audit, SOX requirement

Additional responsibilities:

 

  • Resolve queries within defined timelines.
  • Identify ideas for process improvement utilizing industry leading practices.
  • Handle exceptions generated, perform root cause analysis to resolve current issues and act proactively to avert potential issues in future.
  • Provide all information, documents, and reports for audit. Post the audit; take steps as per corrective action plan drafted by the Team Leader.
  • File and archive relevant documents.

 

Major Opportunities and Decisions  

 

  • Compliance with Financial reporting timelines by coordination with all process owners.
  • Maintaining Zero significant deficiency/observations for Sox Audits, USGAAP, Statutory, Cost Audit, GIA Audit or any other compliance audits mandated by Bunge.
  • To identify and implement process change to bring efficiency.

 

Education/Experience  

  • MBA Finance or B.Com with 4-5 years of relevant experience with OTC.
