Overview: The Knowledge Management Global Process Owner demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Bunge's global knowledge management process. This role leads and coordinates efforts across multiple functions and regions, ensuring alignment with business technology strategy and maximizing the value derived from effective knowledge sharing. It requires expertise in knowledge management principles, data management, and strong leadership, communication, and change management skills. This role focuses on strategic leadership and driving process excellence related to knowledge management, rather than simply managing databases or document repositories. It requires a deep understanding of business technology and how knowledge can be leveraged for competitive advantage.
Essential Functions: Main Accountabilities:
- Define, document, and maintain the global knowledge management process, aligning it with business technology objectives. This includes defining knowledge domains, establishing knowledge capture and sharing mechanisms, and developing metrics for effectiveness. It also involves defining and promoting best practices for knowledge creation, storage, retrieval, and application.
- Lead and manage a team of knowledge management specialists, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback. This also includes identifying training needs and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless knowledge sharing and integration across different departments and regions. This involves building relationships, understanding each team's knowledge needs, and tailoring communication and training accordingly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data analysis, best practices, and stakeholder feedback for process optimization. This entails proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs on the global knowledge management process, ensuring understanding and adoption. This includes creating engaging and informative training materials and adapting the training delivery methods to suit different learning styles.
- Manage the knowledge management resources, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging knowledge management technologies and incorporate innovative approaches. This involves attending conferences, networking with other professionals, and conducting research to stay at the forefront of the field.

Minimum Requirements: Education/Experience:
Typically a Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Knowledge Management, or a related field, with 6-10 years of experience in knowledge management, including leadership experience. Relevant certifications are preferred.
