Job Title: Manager, Process Improvement & Effectiveness
Location(s) of role: Mohali
Position Mission
Responsible for coordinating and technically leading a portfolio of projects and the assigned subject matter experts team, whether internal and/or external, seeking to identify opportunities for improvements in Global Business Technology Processes, propose future state and plan change management. This includes support in analysis of process measurements for Global Process Owners, alignment on key performance indicators (KPIs) for processes defined in Business Technology.
Brief Position Description
Coordinate with assigned teams the identification and collection of information from users/clients, process owners and roles involved in process run. Define and analyse key performance metrics for Global Business Technology Processes in alignment with Strategy. Lead process improvement initiatives between internal teams and IT consultants from vendors. Monitor, verify, and maintain process improvement project scope. Ensure compliance with the project schedule.
Activities and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with assigned teams the identification and collection of information from users/clients through interviews, meetings, and other related interactions, seeking to understand their needs, difficulties, and requirements in the global process. Receive process documentation and results of process measurements in order to plan and develop new projects and improvements to the existing processes.
- Receive and validate developed process improvement projects by verifying scope, business value, and timeline through the review of documentation, evaluations, and formal assessments, as well as suggesting strategic improvements and alternatives based on cost-benefit analysis, ensuring the project meets established needs.
- Lead demands between internal teams and external IT consultants by monitoring their activities to align resource allocation according to request prioritization and departmental planning.
- Monitor, verify, and maintain process improvement project scope to ensure requirements are met, controlling changes throughout the project through approval of detailed change management plan, tracking progress, and replanning actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the project schedule by monitoring activities, aligning and securing commitment from all involved parties, and implementing action plans to resolve issues when needed.
- Monitor Global Process Owner approval at each project phase by providing support and validation and ensuring proper documentation of client acceptance.
- Monitor and validate the transition of process improvement projects to operations, aiming to minimize impacts through the involvement and alignment of all teams throughout every project phase.
- Monitor new process implementation, guiding roles involved in the process, providing training on process activities and responsibilities, and supporting users during the initial usage phase.
- Coordinate and ensure support for the maintenance of global process, particularly in higher-complexity incidents.
