Overview

The person in this role demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the development and implementation of SAP solutions tailored for industrial processes. Responsibilities include independently managing projects, adapting departmental plans with in-depth knowledge, recommending best practices, and supporting the delivery of solutions to complex challenges where precedents may not exist. This role requires an individual contributor who can proactively identify and solve problems, contributing to Bunge's global strategy and operational excellence.

Essential Functions: Main Accountabilities 

• Manage projects and processes related to SAP Industrial Solutions, working independently with limited supervision and adhering to specific functional policies and broad procedures to achieve established goals.
• Participate in large to medium-sized SAP projects, contributing to process improvements and ensuring the effective execution of key activities to obtain important business results.
• Apply in-depth knowledge within the SAP MM (&WM) Solutions discipline and a basic understanding of related IT disciplines to adapt departmental plans and recommend innovative solutions and best practices.
• Perform a variety of complex and non-complex tasks related to SAP configuration, analysis, and support, with the ability to analyze problems thoroughly to understand underlying causes.
• Support the delivery of solutions to complex SAP problems, particularly in scenarios where existing precedents may not be directly applicable, requiring analytical thinking and interpretation.
• Provide guidance to professional and/or support staff on SAP functionalities, methodologies, and best practices within an industrial context.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP processes and systems, leveraging expertise to enhance efficiency, functionality, and user experience.
• Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action, maintaining the ability to manage work effectively even in challenging or changing environments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Successful delivery and implementation of assigned SAP Industrial Solution projects.
• Effectiveness of recommended SAP solutions in driving process efficiencies and improvements.
• Timely and accurate resolution of complex SAP-related issues and support requests.
• Contribution to the knowledge base and best practices within the SAP Industrial Solutions domain.

Major Opportunities and Decisions

• Analyzing complex and non-routine SAP problems that may require extensive investigation to understand, solution debugging, applying acquired expertise to find solutions
• Supporting the development and delivery of solutions for intricate challenges where standard procedures may not exist, taking a new perspective on existing approaches.
• Making tactical decisions within specific functional policies and broad procedural guidelines to ensure the effective implementation and operation of SAP Industrial Solutions.

Management/Leadership

• Manages mini-projects and processes within SAP Industrial Solutions independently, operating with limited supervision and following established functional policies.
• Provides guidance to professional and/or support staff, aiding in their daily activities and contributions to project goals.

Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces (External & Internal)

Internal: Global and regional Business Process Owners, other BT Global Solutions teams, BT Infrastructure, Industrial Operations teams, End Users. External: SAP vendors, implementation partners, technical consultants.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM (& WM preferred) modules relevant to industrial processes and their integration.
• Knowledge in Inventory Management & Costing
• Experience in MM processes including sub-contracting
• Understanding of MM processes and integration to other modules like FICO, PP
• Experience in migration of MM objects like PO, Inventory, PIR, etc.
• Deep understanding of Material Mater and field setting
•  Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing or processing environment.
• Prior SAP debugging experience
• Prior experience with non-SAP industrial solutions (desirable) – MES, LIMS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical and business problems effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage project deliverables effectively.

Minimum Requirements: Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of position related experience in SAP MM (& WM), or an equivalent combination of education and experience level. Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
