Senior Process Associate - Enterprise Data Management

Role Purpose Statement:

To support EDM Master Data operations (Data creation/Maintenance/Reporting) of BEMEA (BLC) countries to enable seamless and uninterrupted business transactions across all the countries in the region. This role is required to support daily data governance and driving various ad hoc MDM projects to ensure data quality and robust governance around the Bunge master data processes.   

Main Accountabilities :

           Validate data and reinforce Region compliance to business rules and standards

• Enrich data provided by Data Initiator or Data Requestor
• Perform data cleansing and maintenance
• To support and enable business teams for providing timely and accurate data for doing uninterrupted business transactions across the region
• To monitor and deliver defined global KPIs
• Driving improvement initiatives to improve process controls and efficiency around the master data
• To maintain a process checklist (control sheets) for better control and governance  

Impact/Dimensions (

This role is viewed as a Data Custodian – Process expert in the master data management domain. This role will be required to perform and deliver Global KPIs, Automation, Improving Data Quality, Controls and governance to achieve the strategic objectives set for business team to do sales, production etc.

Major Opportunities and Decisions :

• Standardization of processes and business rules
• Support to implement governance to achieve ZERO issues and 100% compliance  
• Driving data quality programs to improve data quality for seamless and uninterrupted business processes.

Management/Leadership:

• Proactive approach to provide solutions to business problems
• Timely and accurate data availability to support various initiatives taken by business/stake holders  
• Understanding of business processes and it’s impacts at global, region & country level
• Understanding of governance and control framework in EDM    
• Dependencies & importance of data on other associated processes like supply chain master, order management, location master etc.
• Periodic Trainings, sigh off and Data Validation controls.

Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces (External & Internal):

• This role will be required to collaborate with a multiple Bunge stakeholder spread across the globe from Business, IT and others stakeholder in order to define and achieve a mutually agreed outcome in the master data domain data.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge of Data Management processes across all the key data types, business rules and how Master Data affects transactional processing
• Knowledge of Business process and related business process metrics
• Technical knowledge of SAP master data tables, fields, SAP MDG
• Experience in executing and driving Data Quality programs

Education/Experience

Bachelors in Technology with 3-5 year experience in EDM, MDM
