Role Purpose Statement Accountable for leading the OpenText VIM domain globally, ensuring stable operations, continuous improvement, and successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
This role combines people leadership, solution ownership, and business partnering to drive efficiency in invoice management processes across regions.
 
 
 
Main Accountabilities 1. Domain Leadership (VIM & Invoice Management)
Own the end-to-end VIM solution landscape, including VIM, Enterprise Scan, and Imaging Viewer
Act as global SME and escalation point for complex issues and business-critical incidents
Define and execute roadmap for VIM enhancements and optimization

2. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop a team of 5–7 VIM experts, ensuring delivery quality and capability growth
Set priorities, allocate workloads, and drive performance management
Coach and mentor team members to enhance technical depth and functional expertise

3. Program & Project Delivery
Lead large-scale implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, SAP roadmap, and digital strategy
Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations

4. Business Partnership & Process Optimization
Partner with Finance and Procurement stakeholders to optimize Accounts Payable processes
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities leveraging SAP capabilities
Drive standardization and scalability across regions

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationship with OpenText, SAP, and external service providers
Influence senior stakeholders and ensure alignment with business priorities
Act as bridge between business and IT, translating requirements into scalable solutions

6. Reporting & Data-Driven Improvements
Define KPI framework for invoice processing (e.g., cycle time, automation rate, exception handling)
Improve reporting capabilities and enable data-driven decision-making

Technical Deep expertise in:
OpenText VIM (core configuration, workflows, exception handling)
Enterprise Scan, Imaging Viewer

Strong SAP background:
FI-CO, VIM, MM, SRM

Advanced understanding of:
Accounts Payable processes (incl. prepayments, invoices, reconciliations)

Experience in:
Large-scale SAP/VIM implementations and global rollouts
Integration with upstream/downstream systems
 
 
 
 
Education & Experience >Bachelor’s degree (BTech) / CA / MBA (Finance or equivalent)
>10–15+ years of experience, including:
>>>Extensive experience in OpenText VIM implementations and support
>>>Proven experience leading teams (minimum 3–5 years people management)
>Experience in global organizations and complex SAP landscapes
