What will you be doing as an Accounts Payable Specialist with English

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing Vendor invoice verification and processing activities, which services the global operations for Bunge Group.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Processing vendor invoices (PO and Non PO invoices);
• Ensuring correct GL/Cost centre coding for vendor invoices;
• Following up on invoices for approval according to business rules;
• Performing periodic vendor statement reconciliation;
• Resolving vendor and employee related queries within defined timelines;
• Performing SOX controls and ensuring SOX compliance as per policies;
• Handle exceptions generated, perform root cause analysis to resolve current issues;
• Assist in period-end closing activities (e.g. Intercompany booking);

What you can bring to the role:

• 1 – 3  years of work experience in a similar role; Shared Services Centre / BPO setup - an advantage;
• Strong written & oral communications skills in English;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);  SAP - would be a plus;
• Strong problem identification and solving skills;
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and deliver high quality output under time pressure;
