What will you be doing as an Accounts Payable Accountant

The core focus of this role is to perform Vendor invoice verification and processing activities, which services the global operations for Bunge Group.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Processing vendor invoices (PO and non‑PO) and ensuring correct GL and cost centre coding.
• Following up on invoices for approval according to the reporting matrix and business rules.
• Performing periodic vendor statement reconciliations.
• Resolving vendor and employee queries within defined timelines.
• Handling exceptions, performing root cause analysis, and preventing future issues.
• Assisting in period‑end closing activities and ensuring compliance with Group Policies and SOX requirements.

What you can bring to the role:

• 1 – 3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Strong written & oral communications skills in English
• Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred
• Minimum Education Qualification – Graduation
• Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in ERP/ Accounting systems
• Experience working in a similar Shared Services Centre setup - a distinct advantage
• Experience in processing high volumes of transactions
