What will you do as an Internal Control & SOX Specialist?

The role purpose is to assist in regional internal control activities, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) act requirements

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing and standardizing SOX control testing, including using tools like Cadency.
• Identifying risks and controls related to process migrations.
• Improving the internal control and risk environment across the region, aligning with global standards.
• Trainings delivery to local teams.
• Supporting deficiency remediation to achieve a "zero deficiencies" objective.
• Assisting with other local and international control projects like new system implementations.

As our future colleague, you should have:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance area
• Min. 1-2 years of internal control preferebly in an audit company / international environment; SOX knowledge is a plus
• Very good communication skills and stakeholder management
• Self-confident
• Able to work independently being part of a remote team
• Computer literate: Excel & SAP experience
• Fluent in English and Romanian; Hungarian language represents an advantage;
• Travel needed occasionaly to the Romanian plants - approximately 10% of the working time; driving license B
