What will you be doing as a Logistics Officer

The core focus of this role is to support logistic of the purchases & sales contracts, accomplishing the duties related to all processes involved in the contracts execution and contracts execution coordination. 

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the execution of meal, grain, and seed local and export contracts by assigning workload and tasks to the execution team.
• Review and monitor daily execution activity reports.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent losses and reduce storage costs.
• Oversee the execution and logistics workflow and the development of the execution and logistics team.
• Review all execution and logistics reports that impact business decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and monitor logistics management strategies for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of goods and product distribution.
• Approve cargo/services invoice payments and justify stock liquidation and losses.
• Conduct logistics planning for plant operations, origination, and trading purposes.
• Ensure integration between factory production intake, transportation, and warehousing to support crushing operations and optimize costs.
• Control execution and resolve complex issues related to contract execution, export/import of goods, and logistics.
• Analyze costs associated with services.
• Follow and respect local and BEU policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

What you can bring to the role:

• Proven experience of 3 - 5 years in Logistics, Supply chain in a agri-business industry or similar field
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agri-Business, Economics) or equivalent work experience.
• Good command of English level 
• Proficiency in MS Office package 
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Analitical skills and data acuracy
• Strong oraganizational and planning skills
