What will you be doing as a Strategic Sourcing Manager?

The core focus of this role is developing sourcing strategies, leading complex initiatives, managing contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure efficient, budget-aligned capital delivery. This is a global role managing procurement needs of our CapEx projects.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Leading development and implementation of CapEx category strategies.
• Managing/supporting end-to-end sourcing processes for equipment and construction/engineering services.
• Negotiating commercial and contractual terms with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Coordinating supplier qualifications, technical bid evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Liaising with cross-functional teams to align project/package deliverables and manage issues or escalations.
• Leveraging data, market intelligence, and cost models to support sourcing decisions and business cases.

What you can bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent by experience. Added Business education is preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in global procurement, category management, or a related supply chain function, with significant experience in capital projects
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred, ideally with technical knowledge of equipment and processes.
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Excel, Power BI, SAP, Coupa etc. to drive smart business analytics.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required ~20%.
• Available to attend a flexible schedule, adjusted to different time-zones whenever necessary.
